Load Tested
Our Safer Escape ladders are currently EN131 certified. This is a European Union Certification that is given to portable steps and ladders that are manufactured from metal and other materials such as GRP. An EN131 certification is a standard that is designed to give you peace of mind that your ladder has been manufactured and tested to ensure maximum safety.
Can Support Multiple People
We know that if you are trying to get out of your home during an emergency, the last thing you want to waste is time. That is why our ladders are designed to support a maximum load of 150 kilograms (~331 U.S. pounds). What this means is that 4-5 people can climb our ladders at once to ensure maximum efficiency.
Working Towards The Golden Standard
Although we have multiple European Certifications, we are also currently undergoing review by the ICC-ES. This is regarded as the golden standard for ladder safety in the North American construction Industry.
